1st BD Multi-Omics user meeting, March 19th

Learn more about the future of Single Cell Immunology

Dear valued customer,

We are pleased to invite you to our first BD Multi-Omics user meeting, which is open to all BD RhapsodyTM and BDTM AbSeq users, and to those who would like to become one.
As it is already known, BD Multi-Omics technologies are giving researchers ‘two read outs in one experiment’, by making it possible to study both gene and protein expression in one go, at the single-cell level.
Come and see how these innovative technologies are helping researchers further their understanding of biological processes in fields as diverse as immunology, oncology and beyond.

Agenda

10:00 Welcome, Tony Kirk & Simone Guenther, Country Business Leader BDB / Sales & Application Leader, BDB
10:30 Christina Chang, Supervisor R&D BDB, Evolution, challenges, and the future of single-cell multi-omics

BD Rhapsody™

The BD Rhapsody™ System is a platform to singularize cells and interrogate them by employing robust and easy to use assays. The system’s hardware allows for strong workflow QC, the assays make up the different applications and are constantly being further developed. The Rhapsody™ system represents a full workflow from sample preparation through to data analysis and visualization.

BD™ AbSeq

With the BD™ AbSeq application, Antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (Ab-O’s) are used to label the cells of interest which are then subjected to the BD Rhapsody system following the standard workflow. This Multi-Omics approach allows researchers to measure both, the expression patterns of cell surface proteins and mRNA at single cell resolution. This application uses BD’s high quality Pharmingen antibodies with an increasing number of available Ab-O’s.
