With a Master's Degree in Biotechnology and a PhD in Immunology, Dr. Rotta serves as the Scientific Affairs Manager at BD Biosciences. Prof. Martins coordinates the NMS Biosafety Committee, is a member of the Faculty's Scientific Council, and collaborates with NOVA Greenlabs. She serves as a Vowel of the Iberian Cytometry Society, volunteers with ISAC SRL, advises CLSI on Hematology and Immunology, and assesses medical laboratories for international standards in various countries.

He founded Mendelian (AI for diagnosing rare diseases) and Savana (AI in clinical research).
